Coca-Cola picks Mediaset for Christmas campaign

Soft drink giant Coca-Cola has chosen Mediaset channels to air a special Christmas campaign in Spain.

Some of Mediaset’s best-known personalities have participated in Coca-Cola’s 45-second Christmas spot, shot entirely in Mediaset’s headquarters in Madrid. The advert is set to air this week on Telecinco, Spain’s most-watched free-to-air (FTA) network, and Cuatro.

Four presenters from Mediaset’s prime time shows – Jesús Vázquez, Marta Torné, Manu Carreño and Luján Argüelles – and two actors from the series La Que Se Avecina, Pablo Chiapella and Vanesa Romero, star in the TV ad, which will be broadcast exclusively on the Mediaset networks.

For sixth year in a row, Coca-Cola has also chosen Mediaset*to launch the first spot of the year, one of the most coveted time slots on Spanish FTA TV.

The soft drink brand will also appear on Mediaset’s live coverage from Madrid’s Puerta del Sol during the final minutes of 2016.
