Dutch IPTV provider KPN has launched a seven-day catch-up Tv service from the EPG enabling subscribers to restart any programme on 132 channels.
The service ie is available for all clients of KPN Interactieve TV, including its other brands XS4ALL and Telfort.
Dutch cabler Ziggo already offer a similar catch-up service for owners of the Horizon set-top box, bit only on a limited number of channels. KPN offers the functionality on all its channels, 132 overall, of which 63 in its basic tier and 36 in HD.
KPN already offered a Restart TV service, which allowed viewers to restart a programme from the beginning when they tuned in while the programme is in progress, but now people can start to watch any programmes from the past seven days.
