Albalá to revamp RTVE studios

Spain’s public broadcaster RTVE has selected Albalá Ingenieros to revamp two of its Torrespaña studios.

The A2 and A3 facilities, in Madrid, will be updated for HD news programming production, with Albalá supplying RTVE with some of its TL3000 product family.

The contract includes two HD digital video pre-selector switches with 21 inputs to two outputs, seamless switching, up/down/cross converters with frame synchronisation, a 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video format converter module and a dual SDI format digital video distributor with automatic cable equalisation and re-clocking.

The public broadcaster has selected Albalá before to revamp its regional broadcasting centres in Barcelona and Pamplona, among others.
