My sat system as been down now for about 8 months due to stab motor breaking. I am thinking of either getting shut of it all or getting a new stab motor. What channels are available now ie: movies, sport, xxx. or am I wasting my time and money.

What is available can vary form day to day but there is certainly still a lot to watch if you have a motorised setup. The main lineup being the tps/multivision package on hotbird and the spanish packages on hispasat. No one can advise on wheather or not you should spend more money but if you treat it like a hobby, then its not so bad is it.

I got my new motor today and am setting it up got all sats but for hispasat but should sort that out. is the dragon cam the one to get or is my matrix reloaded still ok.

Your matrix cam should be ok for most things so download the latest version and have alook at the readme inside. Also check out the posts in the matrix section which will give you a good idea of what its all about.
When you are up and running with your matrix you can them make up your mind regarding the dragon cam
had a matrix since therev been out very good cam thinking of getinsg a dragon cam
