Mediapro takes Crush international

Spain’s Mediapro and Phileas Production have sold the game show Crush to the US, France, Belgium and Italy among other territories.

The format, internationally distributed by Phileas and Mediapro’s Imagina International Sales, has been selected by Loud TV in the US, the Belgian distributor Butterfish and France’s Satisfaction (owned by Jacques Essebag).

According to Mediapro, Crush, which was presented in front of the industry during MIPCOM, has also been sold in Italy too, and an agreement is under negotiation in Germany.

The game show sees groups of four competing for a jackpot by answering questions. They have to stand on the right answer, and if they are wrong, a huge fake vault falls onto them.
