Rojadirecta has been ordered by a Spanish court to stop streaming across its several mirror and sister sites.

The popular pirate streaming site for sports broadcasts, whose main domain hasn’t worked for over a year, is now being forced to stop any kind of illegal streaming activity, including via any similar domain, such as Rojadirectatv and TarjetarojaOnline.

The court has ordered Puerto 80 Projects, which manages Rojadirecta, to pay an important compensation to Movistar+, as Canal+, which initiated the lawsuit, has now been absorbed by Telefónica.

In November last year, Rojadirecta was forced to indemnify Mediapro due to unfair competition and breaking copyright regulations.

The site, which was very popular in Spain and Latin America, continues to claim that it was only a platform for users to share streaming links, and that the administrators never updated the information themselves.
