Cartoon Network brandishes Mighty Magiswords for second season

Turner’s Cartoon Network has given the green light on production for the second season of animation Mighty Magiswords.
The series follows the adventures of Prohyas and Vambre, a sibling team of ‘warriors for hire’ who embark on ‘heroic’ quests using ‘outrageously funny swords’ called Magiswords. The programme was produced at Cartoon Network Studios and created by Kyle A. Carrozza, who worked on The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
The first season of Mighty Magiswords is set to premiere in the UK on 10 April following being a hit across the Atlantic in 2016. It premiered in the US in September as the number one animated series to launch in Q4 with kids aged 6 to 11 and all key boys, while also ranking as Cartoon Network’s*top show in October. Mighty Magiswords also ranked as a top three Cartoon Network original on VOD, while MagiMobile ranked as top 5 app overall on iTunes while charting two million downloads.
