Viacom subsidiary Nickelodeon Asia is getting set to premiere the animated preschool TV series Rusty Rivets in March.
Created by Spin Master Entertainment, makers of Paw Patrol, the show follows a 21st century child hero Rusty who always saves the day thanks to his imagination and resourcefulness.

“Inspired by the DIY culture of the maker movement, Rusty Rivets helps preschoolers gain confidence and fuel their creativity with a strong focus on inventing, creating and problem solving,” Nickelodeon said in a statement.

Rusty Rivets is the sixth series from Spin Master Entertainment and follows PAW Patrol and Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The new series is overseen by executive producers Ronnen Harary and Laura Clunie.

The programme will air on Nickelodeon from 6 March at 8.45am in Hong Kong and Singapore; 9.50am in Thailand and Western Indonesian Time; and 10.50am in Malaysia. Viewers in the Philippines can see it on Nickelodeon at 11am on 27 March. It will also be shown on Nick Jr on 23 March across all Asian times zones.

Rusty Rivets videos and a game will also be available on the Nick Jr website from the end of February.
