Lemonwhale has been selected by La Nación in Argentina to deliver over-the-top (OTT) the LN+ TV platform for web and mobile applications.

Aiming to remain the number one source of quality news on mobile devices for young audiences, La Nación has launched its integrated digital and broadcast TV experience LN+ for mobile screens.

The Lemonwhale OTT solution enables viewers to access the LN+ service on the web through their desktop or mobile phone.

“In April 2015, we started an audiovisual project with a series of interviews called Conversaciones, and this year we created the newscast La Nación PM, and more than 30 other microformats. These products did so well that they led us to this new path. We are now leaders on mobile, with a digital audience of 11 million monthly users,” said Guillermo Rivaben, CEO at La Nación.

“Lemonwhale was the perfect partner to make such a milestone launch of our digital TV platform LN+ to all devices where our audience is consuming content.”

The shift from text to video represents arguably the biggest opportunity for publishers to win audiences over this decade. With the rise of video, publishers have the possibility to vastly increase their audience engagement and expand the time spent on their sites.
