Strategic Venue Partners has formed a new company focused on comprehensive wireless infrastructure solutions for enterprise in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS), technology suited to supporting streaming video.
Amidst ever-increasing consumer demand for optimum wireless connectivity, SVP’s business strategy leverages its industry expertise and financial capital to provide in-building wireless infrastructure services for various venues, including medical facilities, sports/entertainment, hospitality, universities, Class A office space, high-rises, mixed-use developments and retail space.
SVP can provide customised licensed cellular and unlicensed systems across multiple venue and asset class types including consulting services, engineering, design, construction, implementation and ongoing management and ownership of complex wireless infrastructure technology solutions. SVP also provides resources, support and assets to address the constantly advancing wireless infrastructure requirements of an enterprise’s real-estate assets.
Tiger Infrastructure Partners, a mid-market private equity firm that invests in growing infrastructure platforms, is SVP’s financial partner. The company has also formed several strategic alliances.
“It’s exhilarating to be part of starting a new company in an industry where there is clear market demand for our expertise and business model,” said SVP co-founder Rich Grimes, who has spent more than 20 years in senior leadership positions in the wireless telecommunications industry across carrier, infrastructure and finance.
“Today, the wireless infrastructure sector is dramatically shifting as a result of the evolution of wireless technology, carriers’ business strategies and user demands. We have assembled industry-leading resources, including strategic relationships, to innovate in-building wireless infrastructure for venues and enterprises. We believe SVP is uniquely positioned to leverage its wireless design, execution and operational capabilities as well as its financial expertise to reduce the challenges facing our customers.”
