Hilversum-based Stoneroos has developped the new iOS app for Dutch OTT service Knippr by T-Mobile. An Android version is expected soon.
The new iOS app is available in both iPhone and iPad versions, and brings it in line with the platform’s Apple TV app, both in design and functionalities. Chromecast is built in for viewing on a regular TV set.
The app allows to go back seven days for catch-up viewing and includes functions such as pause, fast forward (and back), search, and picture-in-picture.
Parental control is also possible, which can be administered by the main account holder. A Knippr subscription can be active on up to five different devices.
Knippr is an a la carte OTT service, launched by T-Mobile a year ago. Subscriptions are available starting at €9.99 a month, with no fixed contract. Channels can be added and removed on an a la carte basis.
