Electus picks up global rights to How It Really Happened

Electus International has picked up the global distribution rights to the hit HLN series How It Really Happened with Hill Harper, which was recently renewed for a second season premiering 15 September.
How It Really Happened takes an in-depth look into the most notorious trials and cases, high profile mysteries and celebrity tragedies. The 12-episode series explores the true stories behind the headlines, with episodes centred on OJ Simpson, JonBenet Ramsey, Prince, Michael Jackson and more. The series debuted in January on HLN.
“True crime stories are resonating with audiences right now, and we’re thrilled to bring How It Really Happened with Hill Harper to countries around the world,” said John Pollak, president of worldwide television and Electus International. “The series explores some of the most notorious cases and tragedies in recent history and audiences will find themselves talking about these stories all over again.”
Host Hill Harper is a television, film, and stage actor best known for his portrayal of Dr Sheldon Hawkes on the CBS drama series CSI: New York. He has also starred in Covert Affairs (USA), Limitless (CBS), and Homeland (Showtime).
