H853 & Thomson DSI21

Bonjour,

Je viens d'avoir l'erreur H853 sur mon Thomson DSI21.

J'ai été recommandé pour ce super forum et je pensais y avoir trouvé mon bonheur avec le fichier pb H853 sour Thomson DSI21.zip

Après avoir réalisé le câble, tout vérifié, j'ai donc essayé, et le logiciel ne reconnait pas le STI55xx donc je ne peux avancer.

J'ai un doute sur deux choses:

1) le cablage... celui du pdf inclus dans le pack est différent de celui d'un JTAG... lequel est le bon ??

2) j'utilise Win XP SP2 est-ce que le soft fonctionne bien sur XP ?

I just had the error H853 on my Thomson DSI21.

I have had a recommendation to come over to this forum and really thought I found what I needed with the file: pb H853 sour Thomson DSI21.zip

However, after having built the able, and checked everything, the software does not want to recognise the chip STI55xx and I can not make any progress.

I have some doubts about two things:

1) the cable:... the one included in the pdf file is different than the one for a normal JTAG... which one is the good one ??

2) My OS is Win XP SP2, does the softw works with this OS ?

Une petite suite..

Je viens d'essayer avec une interface JTAG... même punition, non reconnaissance du processeur...

Je suis toujours sur XP, il faut que je me trouve une machine pour installer win98... à moins que quelqu'un puisse me mettre sur la voie..


A little follow up

I just tried with a JTAG interface and cabling, same results, negative, the software jkeys does not recognize the chip..

I'll try to get hold of an old machine to install 98 on it.. unless somebody here can guide me a bit..

Personne n'a eu de soucis, ou n'a réussi à faire ces manips de reprogrammation ??

Nobody has ever had this problems ? or succeeded to reprogram the decoder and could give some hints on how to succeed ??

I used the jtag explained on the H853 tutorial and it works perfectlly to eraze H853 fault.
