Spain’s Atresmedia has chosen Albalá Ingenieros to expand distribution infrastructures within its production studios.
The Spanish technology provider has delivered several rakes for signal distribution, synchronisation and conversion, a new HD, fibre editing control, and its Cross-Connect equipment, including the HVM0002C01 and MVH0002C01 modules to convert digital video 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals.
The HVM0002C01 is a double-signal SDI-DVI converter with BNC connectors that can be configured as inputs or outputs. The MVH0002C01 is a similar device to convert digital video DVI signal into SDI.
Through this agreement, Albalá strengthens its position as one of Spain’s largest technology providers for the broadcasting industry. The company has been selected before by national players like RTVE and international operators such as Claro.
