Wibbitz dips into Pond5 for media asset generation

Artificial intelligence-powered video creation company Wibbitz is teaming with the Pond5 online marketplace to develop royalty-free media assets.
The partnership will extend Wibbitz's*media library*with a collection of what is claimed to be ‘unique and compelling’ creative assets such as videos and images.*Wibbitz will integrate the Pond5 library into its system, which automatically produces videos from text content and other media. Using natural language processing and machine learning, the Wibbitz platform is designed to analyse text-based information, identify key messages like people, places, and events, and then fetch relevant media to match with the summarised storyline.
The Pond5 creative collection sees use already with companies such as existing partners, including CBSi, Hearst, Time Inc., Bonnier, AOL, and AMI. Wibbitz partners include Reuters, Forbes, CBSi, Bonnier, Time Inc., and FOX Sports.
