Leading Brazilian broadcaster Globo has announced an agreement to license three productions across sub-Saharan countries.

Total Dreamer, which recently premiered in the US and Puerto Rico on UniMás, as well as International Emmy winners Empire and Hidden Truths will air across the region.

Featuring fast-paced plots and contemporary themes, all three licensed telenovelas, originally filmed in Portuguese, will be dubbed into English.

Total Dreamer has lately attracted attention on the international market, licensed to major players in different regions across the world, including India, Israel, Middle East, Uruguay, and Georgia.

Hidden Truths, last year’s winner of the International Emmy award for Best Telenovela, has already been licensed to air in more than 40 countries. Empire also won the award in 2015 and became a US hit on Telemundo.
