RTVE, New Horizons, SNGULAR confirmed for Malaga VR summit

The first speakers at the Virtual Reality Observatory which will be held in Malaga on 19-20 July have been confirmed.
The event aims to connect professional attendees, including Samsung, PlayStation, Nokia and HTC, with virtual reality (VR) leaders and professionals.
Among the confirmed speakers is Alejandro Vega, director of RTVE Digital, who will analyse the various immersive experiences that the public network has carried out, including the transmedia strategy of The Ministry of Time and the use immersive video for last year’s Rio Olympics.
As for New Horizons VR, CEO Edgar Martín-Blas will look into the mistakes that were made in the early years of the VR industry. After 60 VR projects launched across 17 countries with 42 major clients, the executive will also explain the adventures that have led him to enter one of the most attractive digital sectors.
And Adriano Pérez, creative director at SNGULAR, will share with visitors to the event his experience in projects with companies such as BBVA, PROSEGUR and ALVIC, which have gained leverage over their competitors through VR and mixed reality.
During the two-days event, there will be lectures, keynote addresses and training about a number of topics such as eSports, video games, VR, augmented reality (AR) and 360° video.
