Swiss ice hockey, the football Bundesliga with Sky, the Portuguese Liga NOS, international top hockey with the Russian KHL and the Swedish SHL and other exclusive sport highlights: from today, customers of UPC and the 15 other distribution partners can order MySports Pro, the premium option from MySports, for just 25 francs a month. The full sports experience is only available through the cable network.

UPC and the 15 distribution partners of the new Swiss sports channel, MySports, are ready: the wait will finally be over on 8 September when MySports goes on air at the start of the new ice hockey season with its full programming line-up.

  • MySports D / MySports F can be received by all UPC customers at no additional cost.
  • MySports Pro offers a wide selection of premium channels (Sky Sport Bundesliga 1, Eurosport 1 und 2 HD sowie MySports 2 / Sky 2 etc.) and can be ordered as an additional option (CHF 25/month).
  • MySports Day Ticket is available to all digital TV customers who want to use MySports Pro on individual days (CHF 9/day).

Sports fans will be on the edge of their seats
Eric Tveter, CEO of UPC, says: “I’m very happy that we will soon be able to offer our sports-mad customers attractive live sport in the comfort of their own living rooms with MySports Pro. With the exclusive rights to Swiss ice hockey and the Sky broadcasts of the Bundesliga, we have two major draws. For ice hockey fans, we will also be exclusively offering the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). And thanks to Steffi Buchli and her team, MySports will inspire sports fans with fresh, new formats.”

But it is not only ice hockey fans who will be on the edge of their seats. For football fans, MySports will offer the Portuguese Liga NOS in addition to the Bundesliga, while for fans of equestrian sport there will be a whole array of exclusive sports broadcasts at the international level thanks to a deal with the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). MySports will also feature international handball, beach volleyball, basketball and motor sports. Further content will be added before the channel goes on air. UPC customers can of course still subscribe to the Teleclub Sport option and therefore have the freedom of choice and the possibility of watching the Swiss Football League or the Italian Serie A. UPC is thus offering the most extensive sports experience in Switzerland and is the undisputed home of sports.

Ready for the start of the Sky Bundesliga football broadcasts
The MySports Pro option includes other premium channels such as Sports 1 US HD, Eurosport 1 and 2 HD and Motorvision TV. These channels are available to customers with MySports Pro immediately, but they will only start paying for the option from September 2017, when the full programming line-up goes live. Bundesliga (from 28 July 2017) before the official start of MySports for free.
