Televisa eyes Argentinean hit series

Televisa is to adapt the Argentinean fictional series Amar después de amar for the Mexican audience.

Re-named Caer en Tentación, the prime time series is already being filmed and is scheduled to premiere in October through Televisa’s free-to-air (FTA) channel Las Estrellas.

Televisa, which is revamping its content production unit, has now chosen this more traditional, soap opera-like 80-episode series. The format aired at the beginning of the year on Argentina’s Telefe, averaging 12.1 rating points.

Starring Mexican actors including Adriana Louvier, Carlos Ferro, Gabriel Soto and Silvia Navarro, the series is executive produced by Giselle González.
