Ex Sly CS user thinking of moving to Cable VM

I have been using CS on 28.2 for a couple of years and now that Sly have effectively now blocked CS on their system I am considering having cable installed with minimum package and going down the CS route for the other channels will this work?

I have VU+ DUO2 and will buy a cable tuner for it.

You don't need to take a basic TV package to use VM, just a broadband connection
