ViewLift names VP of sales

Digital content distribution specialist ViewLift has appointed Lloyd Jacobs as VP of sales.


Jacobs joins the company from Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS), after holding senior positions at IBM, thePlatform (now CTS), Anystream (now Telestream), Sybase (now SAP), Cramer Systems (now Amdocs).

“Already understanding the technology landscape today, I was incredibly impressed with ViewLift’s ability to deploy a full-service video infrastructure rapidly, supporting distribution-consumption-monetisation across all major devices,” said Jacobs. “Also unique, beyond infrastructure, is ViewLift’s added focus on consumer acquisition and retention.”

ViewLift’s platform includes real-time analytics, presented in a 360-degree dashboard, for optimising subscriber acquisition and ARPU.
