America dominates Peru’s social TV scene

The first social TV ratings delivered by Kantar in Peru have revealed that America TV has no rival on Twitter.

The Kantar Social TV Ratings leader board show that five America TV programmes are in Peru’s social TV top five and seven are in the top ten, with the list completed by one each from Panamericana, ATV and Latina.

The dancing reality series El Gran Show achieved the highest social TV impact during the first week of August, with over 440,000 impressions and 3,000 tweets, followed by Cuarto Poder and four different shows from Esto Es Guerra (EEG), a reality show for youngsters.

Panamericana’s Panorama, another EEG show, ATV’s Combate and Latina’s Que tal sorpresa complete the first Kantar Social TV Ratings top ten.

Kantar Media announced the release of the social TV tool in Peru two weeks ago as part of its larger strategy to boost social TV measurement across Latin America.
