ESPN has appointed a new team of sports journalists to lead SportsCenter, the network’s flagship programme in Colombia.

Starting in September, Yanjane Meneses and David Gutiérrez will host the popular news show, which has over 30 editions broadcast every week. In addition, Gutiérrez will have a role as sports analyst on Balón Dividido, aired by ESPN2.

Both journalists have a substantial career in sports reporting, both for TV and radio and are already well known to Colombian sports fans.

“They’re joining ESPN and looking forward to adding their capabilities to the journalistic values that are key for ESPN,” said the pay-TV network.
