XUMO unveils September programming slate

The XUMO live and video-on-demand (VOD) over-the-top (OTT) service has announced its initial autumn line up, with an assortment of channels launching for September.

These include: Stingray Ambiance, which brings together high-definition video and carefully selected soundtracks; Fox Deportes for Spanish-language sports coverage for soccer, baseball, basketball, American football, tennis, boxing, motorsports, golf and more; Futurism, which covers the breakthrough technologies and scientific discoveries that will shape humanity’s future; HooplaKidz, an education channel for the younger set; Stingray iConcerts VOD, for full-length live musical performances from various genres of music; LifeZette, which focuses on everything from pop culture to faith and parenting to politics, with a mixture of stories, commentary, video and graphics.

Additional special programming for the autumn on Xumo includes: the Formula Drift Showdown at the Texas Motor Speedway (live) on the NETWORK A channel; Emmy’s Red Carpet (live) on the People Entertainment Weekly Network channel; and NCAA and NFL commentary and analysis on the FOX Sports channel throughout the American football season.
