Cosentino magic to grace Asia’s AXN

Sony Pictures’ channel AXN has announced a new original programme starring Australian magician, illusionist and escapologist Cosentino.


The Elements, a four-part series, will feature Cosentino’s street magic, large-scale illusions and death-defying escapes all themed around earth, wind, fire and water.

Filming for the programme begins this week in Singapore, before taking in Taipei, Manila and Kuala Lumpur. Asian singers, actors and models will join Cosentino in his magical moments.

Cosentino has been named International Magician of the Year and the International Escape Artist of the Year in the industry’s prestigious Merlin Awards.

“The Elements supports our vision to create a pipeline of original, locally relevant series that engages our viewers both on screen and via social platforms. As a world-renowned illusionist, Cosentino made his AXN debut as a guest star during the Asia’s Got Talent finale episode in 2015. We’re thrilled to partner with Cosentino again to usher in his magic revolution in Asia,” said Virginia Lim, senior vice-president and head of content, production and marketing, Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN).

Cosentino added: “I am very proud of what we have created with The Elements series. The concept of each episode and the magic and escapology contained within them is unlike anything else that has been seen before”.

The Elements will premiere in early 2018 on AXN.
