Insight TV showcases DarkFEST mountain biking

Insight TV, producer and broadcaster of adventure travel and extreme sports genres in 4K, is prepping the premiere of Secrets of DarkFEST, a film following the behind-the-scenes action of a mountain bike (MTB) event.


Secrets of DarkFEST will premiere on 2 September and the 60-minute movie features what are described as jaw-dropping stunts and riders battling the elements on massive ramps, including the 70-foot roll in, on the southern tip of the African continent at Garden Route Trail Park in Knysna, South Africa. It also gives mountain bike and extreme sports fans the opportunity to experience the highs and lows that come with building a unique MTB course over three weeks.

The narrative revolves around project mastermind Sam Reynolds; DarkFEST has been his dream for the past five years and it took him and his core team countless hours to plan and prepare the course.

“We’re really excited to showcase this film, which is based on a sport that has a huge following around the world. To be able to work with Monster Energy is a thrill for us and allows us to really push the boundaries of our unique programming,” said Arun Maljaars, global content strategy manager at Insight TV.
