Internet Video Archive, which claims to be the world's largest online trailer service, is now offering a month-to-month ad supported video and data service for start-ups and incumbents, along with the ability to switch to a variety of subscription models.
IVA’s APIs are used by its clients to drive purchases of entertainment products and film tickets, as well as grow engagement rates with their audiences. Developers can access 1.35 million records with metadata about films, TV series and TV episodes; 1.3 million images related to movies and TV content; 160,000 film and TV trailers, clips, featurettes and interviews, including language- and country -specific versions; one million celebrity data records including birth dates, social media links and images; film and TV ratings; and North American film show times and movie theatre information; film ticketing; and content availability on OTT platforms including Netflix, Hulu and others.
“IVA has been working with the leaders of content discovery from the start but with this offer, we believe we can seed the next generation that do not have the resources to pay the big data companies for access,” said Rhodes Mason, president at IVA. “We have been sponsors at hackathons for this very reason, and encourage new talent to explore how best to help consumers find the content they want to watch or purchase.”
