New York sports broadcaster SNY has chosen the Mediaproxy LogServer software solution for compliance logging and monitoring.

SNY is New York’s television home for the New York Mets and Jets, and UConn Men’s and Women’s basketball programmes. Available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut via Comcast and Cox Cable, the regional sports network delivers daily sports and entertainment programmes, plus classic sports programming, critically acclaimed original entertainment shows and exclusive interviews and magazine shows. The network’s live game broadcasts of the Mets and UConn Huskies are also available via its website and the NBC Sports App for mobile devices and smart TVs.

LogServer is Mediaproxy’s software-based broadcast and IP solution for real-time monitoring and compliance reporting. With LogServer, SNY manages regulatory requirements as well as closed-caption and loudness compliance across its broadcasts.

“The Mediaproxy solutions assist us to provide the best possible viewing experience to sports fans,” said Alex Blanding, VP, Engineering at SNY. “As we look to continually enhance the delivery of our sports content, we can be assured that Mediaproxy will stay ahead of the latest broadcast technology and standards.”

“Sports viewers are a demanding group, who expect the very best, from not only their favourite team, but also their favourite sports channel.” said Harry Glass, SVP, Operations US at Mediaproxy. “We are thrilled to be working with SNY and continue to deliver the best technology possible to help enhance the quality of experience for viewers.”
