With the launch of MySports two months ago, UPC redefined Swiss sports television: Swiss and international ice hockey, the Portuguese Liga NOS, the Bundesliga on Sky and further national and international live sports coverage is available for just CHF 25 a month with the MySports Pro channel package. This also includes premium channels such as “Sport1 US HD” or “sportdigital”. As the Home of Sports, the company has its sights set on an even bigger goal, however: offering customers simple access to the complete world of sports from a single provider. And so the Sky Sport app is an ideal addition to the MySports Pro sports package for customers. “We want to offer our customers access to services such as Netflix, YouTube or Sky. It is important to us that they do not have to use different devices or screens for this, but can access all apps directly via their Horizon TV platform,” emphasises Anna Gatti, Chief Marketing, Products and Digital Officer at UPC.

Launch offer for UPC customers: free for the first month

UEFA Champions League, tennis or golf: the Sky Sport app for CHF 19.90 offers exciting sport entertainment and is the ideal companion to MySports. For UPC customers who use the Sky Sport app for the first time via the Horizon TV platform, the costs for the app are included for the first month.

One push of a button – and the app launches

The Sky Sport app has already been automatically activated on the Horizon TV platform. UPC customers can launch it with just one click. All they have to do is select channel 110 on the Horizon TV platform and the app will launch. The app’s menu is intuitive and easy to use. Sports fans can filter by sport type, for example, and search for programmes from the last seven days and watch these via Replay.
