Picnic at Hanging Rock to air in Oz on 6 May

Australian pay-TV network Foxtel has revealed that the world premiere of FremantleMedia's TV remake of Picnic at Hanging Rock will take place on Sunday 6 May.
The six-part series, based on Joan Lindsay's novel, stars acclaimed British actress Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) along with Australians Lily Sullivan, Samara Weaving, Madeleine Madden and Ruby Rees in their debut screen performances.
The Fremantle Australia production for Foxtel will debut in Australia on 6 May at 8.30pm on Foxtel's showcase channel, On Demand. It will also be streamed on Foxtel Now. FremantleMedia International is distributing the series worldwide.
Made with investment from Screen Australia, the Australian drama series has already been snapped u by Amazon Prime Video in the US, BBC in the UK, Canal+ in France and SKY New Zealand's entertainment channel SoHo.
Picnic at Hanging Rock will also open the Berlinale Series of the Berlin International Film Festival alongside six other dramas selected from around the world.
