Trinity, Acontecem launch VOD catalogue for LATAM pay-TV

Argentinean content producer Trinity and the distribution house Acontecem have partnered to launch a video-on-demand (VOD) catalogue targeting Latin American pay-TV providers.
Aiming to diversify their respective businesses, Trinity and Acontecem have built a VOD portfolio with a mix of local content and Hollywood and European titles, which will be mainly distributed for on-demand and TV everywhere platforms provided by pay-TV players.
“We’re happy to be working with Acontecem, which a solid strategic partner to deliver the over 6,000 hours of films, series, soap operas and documentaries we own to pay-TV players and telcos across the region,” said Mariano Puig, president, Trinity.
“We have been working on this agreement for a long time. We believe in Trinity and its catalogue of non-linear content. We aim to grow together through this project and new shared initiatives that we will unveil throughout the year,” added Ariel Droyeski, GM, Acontecem.
