Lupe Fiasco reality TV series set for launch on KIX

Asian pay-TV channel operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) has unveiled the release date for docu-series Beat N Path, featuring hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco.

The reality show will air from 8 March at 9pm (Hong Kong / Singapore time) on CTE's action entertainment channels KIX and KIX HD.

Beat N Path takes viewers on a journey from Fiasco's hometown of Chicago to Shaolin. Exploring his passion for music and martial arts, the rapper practices with Kung Fu masters throughout the Middle Kingdom and delves into China's emerging hip-hop scene.

"We are thrilled that KIX will be the first in the world to bring in such an exciting and highly-entertaining docuseries to our audiences," said Betty Tsui, vice president, programming - KIX and Thrill, Celestial Tiger Entertainment.

"As a top-performing channel, KIX will continue to acquire more quality reality TV series, like Beat N Path, alongside combat sports and action-packed movies for our action fans across Asia."

Beat N Path is produced by Studio SV, founded by Lupe Fiasco and marketing & media entrepreneur Bonnie Chan Woo. It is the studio's first series production since it launched in Hong Kong and Los Angeles in 2017.
