L'Équipe, WWE ink free-to-air broadcast agreement in France

Global family entertainment provider WWE has announced a new agreement to broadcast its flagship wrestling programme Raw on the L'Équipe free-to-air sports television channel in France.

WWE's TV-PG, family-friendly programming can be seen in more than 800 million homes worldwide in 20 languages. WWE Network, claimed to be the first-ever 24/7 over-the-top premium network that includes all live pay-per-views, scheduled programming and a video-on-demand library, is currently available in more than 180 countries.

From 10 March, la chaine L'Équipe will air a one-hour version of Raw at 10 am on Saturdays with an additional re-air on Saturday nights, all with French commentary. Raw will also be available on L'Équipe's TV everywhere platform for authenticated subscribers, and on its seven-day VOD catch-up window.
