| 07 March 2018

Content and VOD services provider Grey Juice Lab has inked an agreement with Altice Dominicana for the launch of its new video-on-demand service which forms part of its quad-play strategy in the Dominican Republic.

The launch, set for the second quarter of 2018, is designed to allow Altice Dominicana to offer content via its new over-the-top (OTT) platform which is available in multiple devices. The solution will include films and series from Hollywood's major studios as well as independent content providers. Customers will have access to an 'all you can eat' subscription service and also to the latest blockbuster movies right after their window in theatres. There will also be a category dedicated to kids with content aimed at pre-schoolers up to teens.

In addition to the acquisition and aggregation of content, the agreement includes preparation and delivery, catalogue administration, programming, and marketing support. Grey Juice Lab will collaborate with Altice Dominicana's marketing team and the studios to create and implement marketing actions and campaigns to gain and retain subscribers and increase the VOD transactions.

Commenting on the deal, Altice Dominicana content director Manuel Mueses said: "Developing this new service has been hard and intense. Grey Juice Lab has been on our side throughout the entire process. We have found in Grey Juice Lab a true partner that will provide not only a great mix of content but operational support on the launching and on daily basis."
