Accedo enables Tata Sky mobile video service

Video experience technology provider Accedo has revealed the role it has played in developing unified live and video-on-demand (VOD) experience across web, Android and iOS devices for Indian operator Tata Sky.

The service comprises sports, news and 5000+entertainment titles, plus seven day catch-up and Tata Sky selected Accedo to create a content distribution platform with what it felt was the most engaging mobile video experience possible within India.

To ensure the experience, Accedo sought to identify and understand behaviour patterns of Tata Sky’s subscribers and over-the-top (OTT) consumers overall through discovery workshops and focus groups and diary study exercises. The team worked on each platform individually, defining the information architecture, wireframes and visual designs across the multiple platforms, and ensuring compliance to design guidelines after launch.
