Univision has launched the news programme Edición Puerto Rico across part of the US, to deliver up-to-date information and entertainment to the Puerto Rican community.
The daily 30-minute show will be broadcast on local UniMás stations in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Raleigh and on local Univision stations in Puerto Rico and Entravision Communications affiliates in Boston, Hagerstown, Hartford, Orlando and Tampa.
“We are bringing together our resources to inform millions of Puerto Ricans, regardless of where they live,” said Chris Peña, SVP of news, local media, Univision Communications Inc. “In face of relentless challenges, this 30-minute programme is another example of how Univision is committed to informing our communities through news and delivering the content our audience is looking for.”
Edición Puerto Rico will include news stories from local Univision-affiliate in Puerto Rico and local Univision stations; weather from the Univision Weather Centre; and Puerto Rico’s WLII and WKAQ’s political analysis programme.
