Alticast charts Alaska commercialisation for CJ Hello

South Korea's largest cableco CJ Hello has deployed a big data-based business platform from Alticast as the as the foundation for its new intelligent cable TV service.
The business platform will systematically collect and analyse data generated during the service operation which CJ Hello will use for promotion and marketing. It will also provide functions such as an advanced user interface/user experience and will allow the operator to manage the overall media service operation including content management, organisation/settlement management, and promotion. The move builds on an existing realtionship in which Alticast solutions have seen use in enhancing critical infrastructure such as content security. content security.
As a result, says Alticast, CJ Hello will be able to provide customised services tailored to their subscribers' tastes, and deliver a personalised UI/UX, enhancing service competitiveness while helping to identify new revenue models through targeted advertising. The Alticast platform will additionally serve as a foundation to showcase other data-based businesses as CJ Hello will be able to expand the platform in conjunction within an artificial intelligence platform and cloud environment.
