As it continues to expand its programme options to its growing subscriber base, US premium subscription streaming service Urban Movie Channel has announced an original drama series, Craig Ross Jr.'s Monogamy.

Created by husband and wife producing team Ross Jr. and Caryn Ward Ross, the series follows four married couples as they agree to participate in an unconventional form of therapy with the hopes of reviving their failing relationships. Featuring a star-studded cast, the show explores the meaning of monogamy. Does it work? Is it necessary for a lasting and fulfilling relationship? Is it time to expand the definition, or is it a societal construct whose time has come to an end?

The first episode of Craig Ross Jr.'s Monogamy will premiere at www.UMC.tv on 4 May 2018.

"Craig Ross Jr.'s Monogamy explores the deepest, most emotional parts of marriage - love, trust and intimacy - and what happens to these four couples when their relationship foundations are threatened," said the Rosses. "Our outstanding ensemble cast play characters in situations that we rarely see - complex, conflicted and vulnerable people. We are thrilled Monogamy will premiere on UMC, giving a fantastic platform for our vision."
