Channel 4, Walter Presents Lifeline to the UK

From the makers of the international hit Locked Up, Lifeline is to reach the UK on Channel 4, following a successful premiere season in Spain.
The medical thriller and drama, based on the widely-debated topic of organ transplant memory, was originally produced by Atresmedia and Mediapro's Globomedia, which are also the creators of Locked Up (Vis a Vis). It stars three of Spain's most celebrated actors, Pablo Derqui, Leonor Watling and Ingrid Rubio have won over 21 international awards between them.
Lifeline (Pulsaciones) premiered worldwide in Antena 3 during the first quarter of 2017 and was selected as The Wit named the series one of the most original formats of the year during MIPTV 2017. After that, an agreement was immediately reached with Channel 4 for its UK premiere.
The 10-episodes series will launch on Channel 4 on 15 April, with the rest of the series going live on All 4 and Sky On Demand immediately after.
In addition to sharing the same creators as Locke Up, Lifeline was also written by Emilio Aragón, who recently won Best Film award for Paper Birds at the Woodstock Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival and the Montréal Film Festival.
The series has also been broadcast worldwide by Atreseries Internacional across the Americas, and it's part of Netflix's subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) catalogue for Latin America.
