ZDF inks Prime deal for Ariel Sharon documentary

Los Angeles and Paris-based producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group has closed a deal with ZDF in Germany for the one-off documentary Ariel Sharon, The Last Battle.

The 1x90' documentary will soon to be aired on the ZDFneo and ZDFinfo factual channels on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the state of Israel in May 2018.

The documentary retraces through unseen archives and testimonies, the life of Ariel Sharon. It aims to show the light and shadow, the wounds and the secret passions of a man whose controversial life merges with the history of Israel. The show was produced for the ARTE channel in France.

They are great partners and it's a great satisfaction to have them among our big and diverse catalogue [with] the quality programmes that they seek," remarked Prime managing director David Freydt. "Germany is one of our long-time [target areas] and we are glad to see our presence growing on the territory."
