DIY orders more Restored episodes

DIY Network in the US has ordered six additional episodes of Restored, starring preservationist Brett Waterman.

The series features Waterman as he reveals the unrealised potential hidden beneath neglect, bad renovations and unsightly additions.

The show has attracted more than 4.1 million viewers to date, with live plus same day ratings up 6% among persons 25 to 54 versus the premiere season. To date Restored has grown the Wednesday 9 pm ET/PT timeslot rating for that demographic by 42% year-over-year.

The network will also make content available on its website, DIYNetwork.com, which is a home and garden destination for videos, home improvement advice and step-by-step instructions. In addition, fans can interact with other home improvement enthusiasts and do-it-yourselfers through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
