Silicon Valley-based start-up Flyr has raised an additional $1 million through a strategic alliance with Renderfam Studios to help continue building a platform of video ads for social media.
Founded by Mexican entrepreneur Hassan Uriostegui, Flyr was commercially launched in January 2018, funded by an initial $5 million, and offers a full-fledged media compositor and animator for iPhone devices.
Working with graphic designers in Mexico, it has created over 10,000 video templates ready to be customised and shared in social networks.
According to the company, Flyr technology empowers graphic designers to produce TV-quality advertisements up to ten times faster than video professionals, and allows easy customisation without the need for professional knowledge.
The platform aims to empower small businesses and individual entrepreneurs to share social TV content with the same quality as premium brands.
With more than 13,000 paid subscribers and one million user-generated projects, Flyr is now raising a Series A funding round.
