MySports is launching the new channel “MySports One” ahead of the upcoming hockey season. The channel is packed full with the best live sport and will be activated on 14 August 2018. UPC and many other distributors will make the new channel available to their digital TV customers. This will allow more customers than before to enjoy numerous sporting highlights and the exclusive and innovative programme formats from MySports’ attractive sports offer.
“MySports One” will show live sport that fans will love: three games a week from the Swiss Ice Hockey National League, plus multi-game broadcasts, talks with prominent experts and background reports, magazine programmes and documentaries. Selected live Bundesliga games will also be shown via Sky. In addition, the full line-up of sports that MySports is making accessible to a wide audience: Swiss handball, volleyball, basketball, equestrian sport and much more. And with eSports formats and motor sports (Formula E and DTM), there is also an attractive offer for gamers and fans of motor racing.
Existing customers will benefit
The new channel will be available from UPC and numerous distribution partners for all digital TV customers from 14 August 2018. Director of Programming Steffi Buchli says: “Our programming and our content is very popular with MySports Pro customers. We are proud of our productions and happy that we can now delight even more people with our content thanks to the new channel. We are taking our “Home of Sports” up another notch, which is just what we like to do.” MySports One will be the “best of” channel, while the MySports 2-9 channels will serve Pro customers who wish to have the complete range.
