Live and on demand streaming service ESPN Player is to bring coverage of more than 2,000 NCAA basketball games to viewers in EMEA.

ESPN Player mobile apps on iOS and Android will enable viewers to watch games on the go and stream content to a big screen via Google Chromecast and to Apple TV devices via AirPlay.

Subscribers also have access to three 24/7 ESPN channels – ESPNU, The SEC Network and The Longhorn Network – direct from the US. Game previews, original programmes, analysis and predictions will all be available around the clock.

The College Basketball season starts on 6 November. Reigning NCAA National Champions Villanova start their campaign at home to Morgan St Bears, while Kansas welcome Michigan State, and Duke travel to Indianapolis to face the Kentucky Wildcats.

The NCAA’s elite players will be hoping to be drafted by an NBA team. The likes of Duke’s RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson, Indiana’s Romeo Langford, and Nassir Little at North Carolina are tipped to follow in the footsteps of current NBA rookies such as Phoenix Suns Deandre Ayton and the Sacramento Kings’ Marvin Bagley III.

ESPN Player is also the home of March Madness in EMEA, including the Final Four and the National Championship game. The journey from Selection Sunday, when the competing teams are revealed, to the final, includes 67 games, which will all be available to view live and on-demand with ESPN Player.

NCAA College Basketball is available as part of ESPN Player’s NCAA College Pass, with monthly passes available for £19.99 and annual subscriptions – which provide access to more than 10,000 college sports events throughout the year – for £109.99.
