2018 has been an excellent year to date for fuboTV and Sunday 28 October was the streaming service’s most-viewed day ever, thanks to the baseball World Series and El Clásico football between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Boston Red Sox prevailed that day over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series while in LaLiga, a Luis Suárez hat-trick helped Barça mete out a 5-1 punishing to its Spanish capital city arch rivals leading to the dismissal of coach Julen Lopotegui.

The US streaming service saw 170,000 unique viewers on the day, which featured several major sporting and entertainment events, including NFL Sunday, English Premier League soccer, a new episode of The Walking Dead on AMC, and the Ray Donovan season premiere on Showtime.

The tally is a 21% increase over its previous all-time high.

During the NFL kick-off at 1pm ET, which coincided with El Clásico, there were nearly 100,000 concurrent streams on fuboTV -- an 18% increase over the previous all-time high (during the World Cup).

fuboTV was also the only OTT service to stream El Clásico in 4K Beta.
