Hulu beefs up skinny TV with Spanish and lifestyle add-ons

Leading OTT service Hulu with Live TV has added Español and Entertainment add-ons for its US subscribers.

For an additional $4.99 per month, the Español add-on offers round-the-clock access to live programming from Spanish-language news and sports networks, including ESPN Deportes, NBC Universo, CNN En Español and History Channel En Español.

The Entertainment add-on meanwhile offers access to the live network feeds of the Lifetime Movie Network, FYI, DIY Network, Cooking Channel and CNBC World, for an additional $7.99 per month.

Later in the year, the launch of Discovery Networks on Hulu with Live TV will add Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia, Discovery Family, Science and Destination America to the Español and Entertainment add-ons.

The launch expands the streaming provider’s stable of premium add-on networks, which also includes STARZ.

“We’re giving Hulu with Live TV subscribers access to even more of the content they care about so that they can build their own personal, complete TV experience all in one place, and at an affordable price,” the company said.
