Boomerang to fly in with VRV

Continuing its content expansion plans with leading brands, Ellation’s fandom-focused video aggregator platform VRV is adding the Boomerang animation service to its offer from 13 November.

At launch The Boomerang channel will feature a library of timeless cartoons from the Hanna Barbera, Looney Tunes and MGM roster — including Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, The Jetsons and The Flintstones — alongside new originals including Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz, Wacky Races, Bunnicula, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and others.

Boomerang will be available to VRV subscribers in time for the Thanksgiving Boom Movie Feast which will also include the newly digitally remastered Garfield and Friends animated series. Additionally, Boomerang’s recently announced shows Monchhichi and Care Bears will be coming to the service in 2019.

The addition of Boomerang and comes on the heels of VRV partnering with Nickelodeon to become the premiere launch partner for NickSplat, making the channel available an over-the-top basis.
