Streaming service, fuboTV, currently basking in record ratings, has appointed sports media executive Hannah Brown as chief strategy officer.

In her new role, Brown is tasked with all strategic development and execution.

She brings 15 years of experience in corporate development, venture finance and media rights acquisitions through in-house roles and as a board member/advisor for global sports and media businesses. Since November 2017, Brown served as senior vice president, corporate development at Relevent Sports Group. Prior to that, Brown spent almost ten years at Sky, most recently heading business development where she led investments and partnerships with start-up and emerging sports businesses. While at Sky, an early fuboTV investor, Brown was appointed as a board observer for fuboTV.

“We are thrilled to continue working with Hannah, first as part of our board through Sky and now in-house at fuboTV,” said the company's co-founder and CEO David Gandler. “Hannah’s long-time support for our vision and her expertise in corporate strategy for media and sports companies are valuable additions to our executive team. I look forward to Hannah’s guidance as we continue to innovate and grow fuboTV both in the US and abroad.”

Brown is also a board member of BRC Group, a US-based Hispanic soccer business, and InCrowd Sports; she’s also on the media advisory board of Drone Racing League.

“I am delighted to be joining fuboTV,” she said. “At Sky, we were incredibly impressed by David and his team’s tenacity, allowing them to get fuboTV off the ground in the most competitive and valuable media market in the world. Their ability to execute brilliantly under resource and time pressure was a standout. In three years fuboTV has taken market share in the US vMPVD space with their laser focus on customer requirements. The business has developed significantly over the last 12 months and I’m very much looking forward to contributing to the next stage of its development.”
