Natalie Dormer inks first-look deal with Fremantle

Hot on the heels of the leading role in acclaimed TV adaptation of Picnic At Hanging Rock, former Game Of Thrones actress and writer Natalie Dormer has expanded her relationship with the global producer and distributor, Fremantle.
The multi-year first-look deal will see Dormer create a slate of drama projects which will be exclusively co-developed with Fremantle. With Mainstreet Pictures, Dormer and Fremantle and are developing Vivling, a series based on the life of legendary British actress Vivien Leigh. The story will follow the highs and lows of the much-loved starlet who conquered Hollywood and give audiences a glimpse into the complex mind of the creative genius. In addition to headmistress Mrs Appleyard in Picnic At Hanging Rock, Dormer has this year also starred in the leading role of Sofia in the psychological thriller In Darkness which she co-wrote and will next be seen in Icon Productions’ adaptation of the Simon Winchester best-seller The Professor and The Madman starring opposite Mel Gibson and Sean Penn.
