International distribution and media agency Quintus Media has concluded several sales across its history, military and science and engineering-based documentaries.

Czech broadcaster FTV Prima has picked up three factual titles produced by Berlin based WeltN24 GmbH - Rocket Science – The Success Story of Ariane 5 (2 x 60’), Inside Navy Strategies (3 x 60’) and The Forgotten Nuclear War (2 x 60’). Offering never-before-seen footage and CGI, Rocket Science – The Success Story of Ariane 5 takes a real inside look into the development and birth of one of the most successful and reliable space rockets in history.

Inside Navy Strategies gives an insight into the secret world of international war battles in the great expanse of the ocean and The Forgotten Nuclear War explains the background behind America’s nuclear bomb tests at the beginning of the cold war which changed Bikini-Atoll from heaven to hell. The two-part series also reveals the real reasons behind it and explains the continuous effect the bombs still have today.

Through a deal brokered by UK based Parade Media, A & E Networks India has acquired Giant Hubs (6 x 60’) and Ultimate Vehicles (6 x 60’) produced by German factual specialist MAXIMUS FILM GmbH. Giant Hubs showcases some of the world's biggest transportation hubs with international travellers and international freight making their ways to far flung destinations 24/7, 365 days of the year and every minute of the day and night. Each episode of Ultimate Vehicles features five vehicles and teaches viewers about the technical details and history behind them.

Quintus Media has also concluded a licensing deal with Czech pubcaster Česká Televize for Exceptional Engineering (8 x 60’). Produced by WeltN24, the series takes a look behind the scenes at the construction process of objects and buildings, from the world´s biggest cranes to the most modern airplane and from the largest motorbike factory to the production site of the world´s most expensive off-road camper vans.
